but I wanted to share my lifelong experience with diabetes

I have type 1 diabetic from the age of 12 and now after reaching the age of 51 you could say I have experienced and gained a lot of knowledge about this illness

Type I is not the same illness as type 2 – the symptoms are the same, but the cause is not!

The cause for Type 1 is from autoimmune problems -meaning the body defense system against germs mistakenly attack the pancreases and the insulin-producing cells causing their destruction

Type 2 and overweight develops from a fatigue and abused pancreases and of the metabolic system deterioration

Type 2 in my humble opinion is not addressed correctly causing type 2 to become type 1 in the long run and this is because of the vicious circle that the recommended diet for type 2 causes

The diet recommended for type 2 consist of 50-70 percent carbohydrate which is the main chain in the vicious circle

Eating that much amount of carb will cause an increase in demand for insulin and on the fatigue pancreases it will stress it even more until it can’t cope, and the intervention of more and more medicine is required

Another problem comes from the cells where in time they will develop a resistance to insulin meaning that they will need more insulin for the same amount of carb

THE ONLY WAY TO BREAK THE VICIOUS CIRCLE AND IS IN OUR CONTROL IS TO LOWER DRASTICALLY the amount of carb in the diet – that will break the cycle

Therefore, the only diet suitable for type 2 is one that based on low carb – high fat
